Whenever we experience a situation in which we have an emotional response, a cord can form. These cords form energetic links between you and another person or situation; they allow your energy to flow from you to something else. Although some cords with children and spouses are appropriate, most of the cords we have are unhealthy and create an unbalanced co-dependency with other people.

I feel invigorated after some major internal adjustment! On all levels I have been clearing my beds for planting. I have been emptying my cup, I have been purging the distractions, I am more in alignment now with my purpose, more able to serve and clearer on where my work really is to reach my goals.

What is the cause of Wellness?

So many people study illness, and how many study wellness? What is a person who is “well” like?  For all the talk of thriving vibrant health, what is it that makes this happen?

I have seen “miracles” which most medical doctors claim are impossible.  I believe that this is due in a large part to an outdated understanding of the human being, an out dated model of wellness, and a lack of knowledge about what actually supports wellness.

In the old model, the “chemical-mechanical model” of human health, their have been many holes or unsolved mysteries. Despite these holes, it has been believed to be fact: chemistry is the ultimate and most useful theory to base our medical and wellness practices!  If it were really our fundamental basis for health then all we would need would be the right pills to balance our body and then health would be restored. It is with a newer understanding of human functioning that is supported by science called the “quantum model”, where we are getting into a more fundamental model than the chemical-mechanical model.  Just like the scientific world has had to adapt to the deeper understandings of relativity theory over Newtonian physics, so too must the medical world begin to apply these deeper understandings to medical and wellness practices.  Yes chemistry exists, but is chemistry the cause of wellness or an effect of something else?

One interesting thing to note is that the nerves of the body literally can not chemically transmit information fast enough to coordinate the kinds of movements made by a dancer.  So how then can they move like that?  In the quantum model, it is believed that their is an organizing force which coordinates the nerves to work simultaneously to make such movements.  This force exists outside the skin of the body and is now being called a “human body field” which is akin to the morphogenetic field. The heart creates an electromagnetic field which acts like a regulatory carrier wave for all the other energy fields of the body!

Another is the emergence of “epi-genetics” or “above genetics” genetics may be our physical blueprints, but we are the contractors! Certain traits may be able to be be passed on but whether certain expressions of those genetic tendencies will be expressed depends on something other than genetics!

My favorite speaker was Lynne McTaggart and how she spoke about “informational medicine” being the wave of the future.

Some conclusions based on the new science: Thought or Belief influences “information” and our body fields which influences genetics, chemistry and our health!

I am reflecting on my time since I left Seattle and the work I have done so far here on the island.

I have completed the first series of classes with Kamala on Energy Medicine. My wellness consulting business has gotten overwhelmingly busy.  My three co-created book projects have been on hold, and I have been anxious to get further training with the amazing Modern Mystery School.  I had my first workout at San Juan Island fitness in a while this morning.

I am learning a lot about lasers, about 10 different kinds of laser frequencies and how to use them therapeutically.   Also learning how to use the amazing Amega wand! I use it for my own self care and it seems to be extremely versatile and effective.  Also infra-tonic sound frequencies, magnets, nutrition, and more.

I have been looking for a place to live w Kamala closer to town.  And on Fridays I am starting a circle to meet and discuss building with bio-magnetically conductive materials to create live/work spaces that foster rejuvenation, healing, creativity and inspire the eye architecturally.  The idea is to start small making 3D models of larger spaces using sacred geometry patterns and cues from natural systems to make an efficient green home to test out how bio-field conductive we can make a home or other structure with various materials.

I have a new series of classes w Kamala coming up, MMS trainings, more work than I can do, and less self-care than is advisable.  There is a plan to have things improve and give me and kamala some relief  so we can get back to self care, teaching, writing, tool creation, living and loving, and yes having a social life eventually!
